Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Building Block Set – 396 Pieces

The LHYY Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Building Block Set is a 396-piece scientific building block display model inspired by the recognizable appearance of the Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot used in modern laboratory automation environments.

Originally developed and manufactured as part of a coordinated laboratory automation corporate gift project, the model recreates recognizable visual elements of the reference AMR including its tall mobile structure, transparent storage-inspired sections, white exterior housing, blue accent line, wheeled base, vertical antenna-style components and side handling mechanism.

Designed for laboratory automation professionals, robotics teams, biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations, research laboratories, scientific conferences, customer programs, employee recognition and technology-themed displays, the model provides an engaging physical representation of connected laboratory automation.

The standard configuration shown on this page is in stock and ready to ship from current LHYY warehouse inventory. There is no minimum order quantity for current ready-stock units, so customers can order starting from one set while inventory remains available.

Important: This is a non-functional scientific building block gift and display model. It is not a laboratory robot and cannot navigate, transport labware, detect its surroundings, communicate with laboratory software, operate robotic mechanisms, charge itself or perform any laboratory automation function.

About the Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot

The real Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) is a mobile laboratory automation platform designed to move labware autonomously between different laboratory work areas.

Thermo Fisher Scientific describes the AMR as a system capable of transporting laboratory items between workstations, rooms or floors in distributed laboratory automation environments. The platform can coordinate tasks with Thermo Scientific Momentum Workflow Scheduling Software and supports transport of laboratory items such as microplates, tip racks and consumables.

This type of mobile automation extends laboratory workflows beyond fixed benchtop workstations by helping connect separate automation areas through autonomous material transport.

Reference System Notice: All navigation, software, sensing, transport, robotic and workflow capabilities described above belong to the real Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot only. The LHYY product shown on this page is a decorative and promotional building block representation.

Companion Laboratory Automation Building Block Project

The Thermo Scientific Autonomous Mobile Robot building block model was originally developed as part of the same LHYY laboratory automation corporate gift program as the Thermo Scientific Spinnaker 3 Microplate Mover Building Block Model.

Although the two models share a coordinated visual language and laboratory automation theme, they represent different automation roles. The real Thermo Scientific AMR is designed primarily for autonomous transportation of labware between distributed laboratory work areas, while the real Spinnaker 3 Microplate Mover is designed for flexible benchtop microplate and labware handling.

Together, the two building block projects create a visual story around the connected laboratory — moving labware at individual automation workstations and transporting labware between different areas of the laboratory.
