Design File Preparation Guide

LHYY Project Preparation

Design File Preparation Guide

Preparing clear reference materials, branding files and commercial requirements helps LHYY evaluate project feasibility, quotation, production planning and delivery requirements more efficiently. You do not need to have every file listed below before contacting us.

Product References Photos, videos, dimensions, brochures or technical references.
Brand Assets Logos, colors, approved product names and brand guidelines.
Project Requirements Quantity, packaging, customization and target delivery date.
Delivery Information Country, postal code, event location or multiple destinations.

01 · Product References

Scientific Instrument & Product Reference Materials

Clear references help our team understand the exterior, proportions, recognizable details and intended project scope.

Recommended References

  • Clear photographs from the front, back, left, right and top
  • Three-quarter angle photographs showing overall form
  • A short video showing the complete exterior when available
  • Approximate overall dimensions
  • Product brochures, specification sheets or official website references
  • Technical drawings or CAD files when available

For custom scientific building block projects, reference photographs are often sufficient for an initial feasibility review. Technical CAD files are helpful but are not required for every project.

02 · Branding Files

Logos, Colors & Brand Assets

Vector Logo Files

AI, EPS, SVG or vector PDF files are preferred for logo printing, packaging artwork and production graphics.

Raster Images

High-resolution PNG or JPG files can be used for reference images, product photography and certain approved graphics.

Brand Colors

Provide Pantone references, approved color values or your corporate brand guide whenever accurate color matching is important.

Approved Brand Text

Please provide the correct company name, product name, model name, trademark formatting and any required legal notices.

Tips for Cleaner Production Artwork

  • Send original logo files whenever possible instead of screenshots
  • Avoid heavily compressed images copied from messaging apps
  • Confirm the final spelling and capitalization of product names
  • Provide Pantone references when corporate color accuracy is important
  • Convert fonts to outlines in final vector artwork when practical

03 · Packaging & Printed Materials

Packaging Artwork Requirements

Packaging requirements can be coordinated during the project after product structure and commercial requirements are confirmed.

Useful Packaging Information

  • Preferred packaging style or reference images
  • Corporate logo and approved brand colors
  • Product name and model information
  • Required text, warnings or legal statements
  • Barcode, QR code or product identification requirements when applicable
  • Instruction booklet or insert requirements

If LHYY provides the packaging structure or dieline, final artwork can be prepared after the applicable template is confirmed.

04 · Commercial Requirements

Information Needed for an Accurate Quotation

Quantity

Estimated Order Quantity

Please provide the expected quantity or quantity range. Many custom products use tiered pricing, so quantity directly affects unit cost.

Timeline

Target Delivery Date

If the project is for a conference, product launch or other event, please provide the target delivery date as early as possible.

Destination

Delivery Country & Postal Code

Destination information helps us evaluate shipping methods, estimated transit time and applicable delivery options.

Distribution

Multiple Countries or Addresses

If one order will be distributed to several countries, offices or event locations, provide the estimated allocation when available.

05 · Confidentiality & Authorization

Confidential Project Materials

LHYY can review confidential project materials under an NDA when required for an approved project.

Customers are responsible for confirming that they have the necessary permission or authorization to reproduce submitted logos, trademarks, product designs, photographs and other protected brand materials.

You Do Not Need Every File Before Contacting LHYY

A project can often begin with a product link, several clear photographs, an estimated quantity and basic branding requirements. LHYY can then advise which additional files or specifications are needed before design or production proceeds.
